G.I. Joe Movie 2009: Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller and Dennis Quaid

The movie is not coming this year, but G.I. Joe will be one of the biggest movies of 2009 and it features a great cast including Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller and Dennis Quaid. DUKE (Channing Tatum) – The field leader of the G.I. Joe team, which has been reconceived from its origins as an elite American fighting unit to be an international squad.

DESTRO (Christopher Eccleston) – The ”Big Bad.” In the comics, as well as the ’80s animated TV series, Destro was a weapons dealer who ran the Military Armament Research Syndicate. It’s unknown how, or if, director Stephen Sommers (The Mummy) has reimagined the character.

THE BARONESS (Sienna Miller) - Destro’s right-hand woman. Also evil. And very, very smart — she was an intelligence specialist in the comics.

SNAKE EYES (Ray Park) – The mysterious, mute ninja who fights alongside the G.I. Joe forces. The mask hides a hideously scarred face but his motivations — and true allegiances — are kept very close to the vest.

GENERAL HAWK (Dennis Quaid) – The commander of the G.I. Joe unit. Though he cedes battlefield control to Duke, Gen. Hawk is the brains behind the brawn, keeping the forces of Cobra at bay.
