American Gladiators season 2 returns to NBC tonight with Hulk Hogan

American Gladiators is all set for a return to NBC tonight for season two of this popular show that pits contenders with super fit gladiators. Both Laila Ali and Hulk Hogan are hosting the show which features new gladiators along with 40 new contenders all determined to become the winner. Season two is much the same as the previous season where two male and two female contenders compete for points, in the new season there are a few new events for the contenders to try out.

Hulk Hogan has said that there was never any doubt that a second series of gladiators would be aired, as the first season proved very popular. Hogan has been explaining that the new Gladiators are now trying to retire some of the older ones who have only been doing it for one year. The Gladiators are very competitive and as a result are all trying to outdo each other. Hulk Hogan has also said that the contenders are getting a lot tougher, so it looks as though the Gladiators will have to up their game.

Some of the classic events are back like Assault, Eliminator, Gauntlet, Hang Tough, Joust, Powerball, Pyramid and The Wall. However; there are new two new events Earthquake and Hit & Run. Catch Season 2 of Gladiators on NBC at 8:00 p.m. ET.
