Amy Winehouse is working on a new track with Pete Doherty

It has been announced that Amy Winehouse is currently working on a new track with Babyshambles guitarist Mick Whitnall and Pete said that they have been in the studio while he was in London’s Wormwood Scrubs Prison.

Pete said that “Mick and Amy have a great relationship. They have been working on material while I was in prison. When I came out I went straight to the recording studio. I just want to get the music going. We’ve been told we will be doing a third album. That will keep me busy and hopefully out of trouble.” Mark Ronson who is a producer reportedly stopped sessions to record the new James Bond theme with Amy saying that he was not sure that she was ready to work on new music.

Babyshambles are due to play a freedom concert in London tomorrow.

In other news Pete Doherty has said that he will make an effort to give up drugs and get his life together after he was released from prison early this week. It’s said that Pete found life as an inmate tough but has said that the experience convinced him to sort his life out and put his demons behind him.

Pete said that “Prison was hard. I don’t want to think about it too much now I’m free. I’ve been dreaming of this day. I was in solitary confinement for most of it. ‘m going to try to keep it together.”
