It has just been reported that Blake Fielder-Civil’s Dad Lance Fielder who is 67 has been involved in a racing cycle crash that might have left him paralysed after suffering head and spinal injuries after going over the handlebars of his bike. Lance was airlifted to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre after being discovered in a ditch around 3 hours after the crash, which happened in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.
Jane who is Lance’s wife said that “At the moment, he’s paralysed but it is too early to say if he will be permanently paralysed. I was really worried. After calling the police I went out looking for him. By sheer fluke a lady in a tractor had seen his bicycle and spotted him lying in a ditch.”
Amy Winehouse and Blake are said to be “deeply shocked and upset” by the news. It’s said that the ordeal has been made even worse for Blake because he is being held on remand at London’s Pentonville Prison and cannot visit his father. It is not yet known if Amy has visited her father in law.
