Bones: The Wannabe in the Weeds send-up of American Idol

Bones: The Wannabe in the Weeds has to be one of the show’s more light hearted episodes, but it needed to be as lasts week’s episode with very knocked us for six a little. In this new episode it had some great moments, this was due to the fact that it was a send-up to their sister show American Idol. They decided to make some light hearted jokes by making fun of the show as well as the contestants who are performing. The show was just full of fun, and this has not been seen since the last season, we know that the Squints get on well and it was nice to see Booth having fun with them.

The start of the episode gives things ways that it is not one of their more serious episodes, like the way that Brennan finds the man’s head in a mower grille, they do not seem to bothered about the man who is dead, this could have something to do with the fact that he is an ass who used to steal money from people to get by. Dr. Sweets also plays a major part in this episode, he warns Booth that Pam who he has interviewed is manipulative and dangerous, but booth is having none of it. The thing I do not understand is how Booth is taken in by Pam, I thought he had a better sense of character; it seems as if this episode is full of holes.

Zach is very funny, he talks about how buff he thinks he is and he also decides to break out into a song in the lab, this is a great moment. However; Zach is not the only one to sing Brennan gets up and sings Girls Just Want to Have Fun., I know you had to read that bit for a second time, but you just watch it.

Bones: The Wannabe in the Weeds is not all fun though and towards the end things take a turn for the worse when Pam fires a gun in the hope of eliminating Brennan, but Booth gets in the way to take a bullet for her. Brennan then picks up Booth’s gun and shoots Pam.
