Samuel L. Jackson is the one who will be bringing Will Eisner’s “The Octopus” to life in the new 2009 movie called “The Spirit”. We have here just for you the first picture of Samuel L Jackson as the Octopus, the film which is set for release on January 16th 2009 is about a rookie cop called Denny Colt who returns from the beyond as “The Spirit” who is a hero whose mission is too fight the odds against the bad forces in Central City.

The film stars Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Gabriel Macht, Eva Mendes, Stana Katic, Dan Lauria, Jaime King, Paz Vega and Sarah Paulson.
