We all know that Rosckstar Games have decided to make a movie version of their popular game series Grand Theft Auto, so that’s the easy part out of the way then. Their hardest part is now to come, and that is to choose the perfect director. Michael Bay has already been linked to the movie, but the movie would end up being a huge $150 million budget movie with a PG-13 rating, if this was the case then I think that the movie would lose its edge. However all is not lost as Uwe Boll has expressed a huge interest in making the movie, and the director has said that he could make it for just $30 million.
Boll has said that his version of Grand Theft Auto Movie would destroy Bay’s in his own words Uwe’s version of the movie would be “very brutal.” I am fighting Uwe Boll’s corner on this one, how can you turn one of the most violent games on the market into a PG-13, it just would not work and I think that so many GTA fans would not even bother taking the trip to the cinema to see the extra-lite version of the game to movie adaption. However; there is one director that I think would make the movie exactly how it should be made, and that is the one and only martin Scorsese. If Scorsese got the gig then he would bring that extra something to the movie and actors would be queuing up to be able to take part in the movie.
