Sex and the City Movie review: coarse, sentimental, and outrageously materialistic

So the main character Carrie Bradshaw is now engaged to a billionaire who can give Carrie everything that she has ever dreamed of, that’s right a huge wardrobe full of the best designed shoes and clothes. At the start of the movie things do look as if life is very good for our four ladies however; as the film progresses the cracks start to show in what was once a perfect life. So what are the other girls up to then, well Miranda’s husband Steve has committed an act that she just can’t forgive him for, and then we have Charlotte who has managed to make that break from New York. As for Samantha it looks as though her big ego is about to get in the way of her relationship with Smith Jerrod.

If you have never watched Sex and the City, then give this movie a miss as you will not get it, if were a fan of the TV series, then you will just enjoy the movie from start to finish.
