Sue Simmons F Bomb Curse Video: Should she get into trouble for this?

Sue Simmons F Bomb Curse Video

Sue Simmons the long time WNBC-TV news anchor provided the nation with the F Word live on TV during a news promo on Monday evening. Personally I think it was as funny as hell. The curse came during the 10pm hour when the news station featured a little promotion for the 11pm news with Simmons and Chuck Scarborough.

Sue Simmons F Bomb Curse Video: Should she get into trouble for this?

Sue Simmons was basically teasing a story about the grocery price rising when the footage was laid over, her voice switched to a cruise ship that has a passenger go overboard. This is when the outburst of the F Bomb happened, Simmons blurted out What the F*** are you doing?” and then there was an 8 second silence. After she made this curse she offered an apology to the thousands of viewers who were shocked.

Sue Simmons said “I have to acknowledge an unfortunate incident … I used a word that many people find offensive. It was a mistake I made and I’m truly sorry.”

Many people love Sue Simmons because she is wise, dress savvy and has a personality and we believe because she is like and she was not racists and it was not a homophobic slur, it was just a general mishap swearing at the wrong time. Got to admit though after watching the video below of her saying “What the f*** are you doing?” was quite entertaining.

Do you believe she should get in trouble or just let it be?

Even if it was 10 PM, it was not acceptable.

I was in anothe room when I heard Sue drop the bomb! I was in stiches!!! Had to replay on the DVR to actually believe it. You can see her face from the begining, she looked a little pissed off.

All in All no harm done. She’s human.

Everything is no big deal when it comes to indiscretions. What gives her the right to talk that way even if she was upset about something in the workplace? What about her colleagues? What if they found her using that language offensive? I would hate to cross her. Obviously it is routine language for her. There were many other words she could have used.
I think she should have a written reprimand and maybe a fine. Doing nothing condones that behavior.
