No one can deny the acting talents of Leonardo DiCaprio who put in one of his best performers in Aviator about the eccentric billionaire Howard Hughes. Well it seems as if the young actor might have another part for him to sink his creative juices into by playing James Bond creator Ian Fleming. While the writers strike was going on there was not much actors could do, but DiCaprio used his time wisely and in that time he expressed an interest in to the movie Fleming, however Leonardo has said that he would want to take the script in a different direction to the one that has been written by using a new writer.
When you talk about using a different writer and taking a movie in another direction is sometimes worries producers and directors, however with someone like Leonardo DiCaprio playing the lead role you know that he will give it 110% in his performance.
As we know Ian Fleming is the creator of James Bond which has seen a bit of a revival, this is thanks to a different kind of James Bond with actor Daniel Craig playing 007. Old James Bond movies have always been a little corny, but with movies from the Bourne Series we knew that Bond needed to go in a new direction or the franchise will get left behind.
Craig has done so much for the Bond franchise, no longer is it corny it is now edgy as well as dramatic. So many fans of 007 would have been shocked to see just how different Craig portrayed James Bond, but it has now given Bourne a run for his money.
