It seems that Miley Cyrus is fast becoming the next Lindsay Lohan, as she seems to move from one scandal to another, first we had the whole Vanity Fair photographs scandal now it seems as if the Hannah Montana is stealing someone’s song. It seems that Los Angeles band Lustra are not happy with the young teen as they claim that her song Rockstar is in fact a carbon copy of their hit ‘Scotty Doesn’t Know’ which featured on the ‘Eurotrip’ soundtrack.
Lustra are now asking Cyrus fans who like her Rockstar song to check out the original version of the song on their MySpace.com web page. Lustra did not know about Miley Cyrus stealing their song until their fans listened to both songs and all agreed that there are similarities between the songs and that both tunes are virtually the same apart from having different lyrics. Nick Cloutman the lead guitarist from the band has said although we are very flattered that Ms. Cyrus took this route, we would have preferred some credit.” The band is now thinking about what they should do one solution that spokesman for Lustra has said the immediate solution is to minimize leaks, and keep all future recordings in a vault, under extreme security.” Chris Baird who is the lead singer from the band has added “If Hannah Montana wants us now, who is next? The Jonas Brothers?
One thing that did make me laugh is what Baird added next “That said, if (Vanity Fair photographer) Annie Liebovitz is interested in photographing us nearly nude we are certainly open to it and we look forward to her call.”

Oh NO (note the implied sarcasm)
All I can think is …. this is stupid. The impression I’m getting is that Lustra is attacking Miley directly …. babes, the girl doesn’t quite have a say in the production of her music! I doubt that she saw such a racy movie that came out when she was 11 years old, much less knows the soundtrack of it. Fingers should be pointed at her producers, not at the poor girl herself!

Miley did not write the song Rockstar, so they got that part wrong. Rockstar was written for the show Hannah Montana, and Miley has not written ANY of those songs.
I’ve listened to both, there are a couple of similar riffs, but they are not the “exact same song”.
Need publicity much???

yes i agree the songs do sound similar
but the lyrics are different
and she added her own flair to it
so its not completely the same
and i dont see why singers are always making such big deals out of nothing..your getting paid more to sing then a doctor is who saves a life
so quit complaining about such stupid things
and find something else to better amuse your time
credit is given ehen credit it due
and quite frankly i dont think they deserve any credit
i think everyone is just looking for a reson to hate miley now
because lindsay lohan and brittany spears are just getting boring
so honestly just leave her alone
she is nothing like them

I really dont think that she stole that song. The producers wrote it for her, Not just for the show. Thats not right they shouldnt be blaming it on her.
