It seems The Happening by M. Night Shyamalan is rubbish: New video clip

Its seems the new movie “The Happening” by M. Night Shyamalan is rubbish and not that good after all, this slamming comes from Collider, they said the movie The Happening is a terrible, they even said it is that bad on an epic scale and that it is basically that bad they did not want understate the film to sound like they are picking on the film.

We say, say it how it is Collider, best policy is honest policy. Collider actually said this “this is not pent-up Shyamalan aggression or a desire to see him fail. This is bad in a jaw-dropping “they can’t really be serious, can they?” kind of way. The closest comparison I can draw is to Neil LaBute’s “Wicker Man” and, like that film, the only consolation I can offer potential theater-goers is that you might want to see it just to be in on the ground floor when the film gets its ass handed back to it.”

Come on can this movie be really that bad? Well apparently Mark Wahlberg’s performance is terrible and that is probably down to Shyamalan’s direction. There is a new 5-minute clip which has been released by Fox which you can see here, the clip shows how good M. Night Shyamalan is trying to sell the movies concept, ok so Collider seem to hate the film which come on everyone deserves an opinion and they may be right judging on the clip we just watched, and nine times out of ten Collider are not wrong.

So do you think this movie will be that bad?

  1. it’s hard for me to imagine, that after five great films in a row this one should be a catastrophe. what i can imagine is an main audience that is still not open for other things than the average hamburger-like movie entertainment of today. it’s always a kind of “sociological” problem, if only a few people dig a very special artistic achievement like mr. shyamalan’s films. very soon many people will see the few defenders as hypocrites still without understandung what#s going on on the screen and inside the heads of the few that appreciate.

  2. understan “dung” !!! lol
    yeah that’s about absolutely right
a few that appreciate a slow tedious excuse for a movie, that yet again jumps on the most recent bandwagon of mans cruelty to the planet….. mmmm “evil planet 3 this times it’s personal”.
Get Bruce Campbell with his chainsaw and a gas mask, battling evil dead type trees..that would be more watchable in a hamburger type of way. Groovy!
    what a load of shite!!!!!!!!!!
i’ll never get those 2 hours back.
