We all know how much of a hard time the Jackson family has had just lately, and all of the money troubles which has surrounded the family. It looks as though Janet Jackson is about to get a cash boost, as she has announced that she it to start a new tour. The singer who was last in the spotlight with a wardrobe malfunction at the Super Bowl a few years back will kick of her new tour in Vancouver on Sept. 20. The tour will see Janet playing venues in both Washington and New York; it has been 7 years since the last time that Janet Jackson toured.
In an interview with The Associated Press, Janet had said “I was supposed to go on tour with the last album,” Janet is talking about 20 Y.O. which was released in 2006, but it was her record labels decision to wait until the release of her new CD, Discipline. Janet is now in full rehearsals for the upcoming tour, Janet and the rest of the singers and band are now trying to learn their new songs, as well as working hard on the choreography which Janet is famous for.
As Janet will be starting a new tour, I do wonder if her older brother Michael Jackson will make a guest appearance at one of her venues. The King of Pop has been working hard on getting his music career back to what it once was, so what better way to get things rolling than appearing at one of Janet’s shows.

first of all im a janet fan in scotland glasow i’ve always loved both mj and jj. it will be a really good treat for fans that like both michael and janet and i know its a lot of them, but is janet coming anywhere in the UK.i’ve never been on any janet’s tours i do have dvds though but i wanna see her live and im seventeen been a janet and michael jackson fan for long time since i knew what real music was

I don’t think Michael needs to appear at a Janet concert to help his own career.
His Thriller 25th anniversary relrease has done very well worldwide, out performing Janet’s latest release by a big margin. I just wich he would get on and release his new album soon.

MJ is amazing. It would be cool to see them perform together again but I think that Janet should perform without him or else she my get outshined by him. I mean, he has a little more star power than she does w/ fans and the media but honestly, if they do perform together… the media would go nuts! That might help both of them in the long run but I think Michael can get back on his feet by himself. I cant wait to see what he’s gonna do next.

janet jackson’s show are all about herself and how sexy she thinks she is, grabbing herself during the whole time of the show.
Michael is high class all the way. No he should NOT appear with his s - l - ….sister.

Have u seen an MJ concert? If you dont know, he’s a little famous for grabbing himself while performing too ( Not that im complaining mind you) Yea, Mj is way more accomplished but janet deserves a little respect to for what she’s done too. They’re both from the same gene-pool so obviously they are both gonna be amazing live. Give ‘em a little credit.

I agree with the poster. Janet’s shows are a bit sick. She has a lot of talent, if only she could use it to put on something of quality, rather than use sex as a tool for publicity and to attract crowds. And at 42, I think she might be old enough to have a baby but according to her, she is not. Wow, what says something about a person when they claim that at 42, they are too young to have children, poor baby.
