Well we all know how great Scarlett Johansson’s acting career is going, and at the moment she is spending her time at Cannes. Well it seems as if she is looking to try and have a great music career also, as she has now released a new album, but it seems as if it is getting slammed by critics. The new Scarlett Johansson album is called Anywhere I Lay My Head, which is a collection of Tom Waits songs; Johansson describes the songs as an intimate experience. However it seems as if the sexy actress is not hearing what music critics are hearing, as many of them have complained that her vocals end up lost in the lush arrangements.
Many critics have their own views on the new Scarlett Johansson album, Rolling Stone magazine said “Johansson’s voice is unremarkable and her pitch sometimes unsteady; she’s a faintly goth Marilyn Manson lost in a sonic fog.” Mojo magazine said of the album “fussy and forgettable.” Mojo did add that it was a strange decision to start the album with an instrumental. It seems that no matter where you go on the internet, most are slamming the album, Washington Post said “it was possible to listen to all 40-plus minutes of Johansson’s album and still have no earthly idea what she sounds like.” The Post said “Every song is like every other song, even the ones that sound different.”
If you had to choose the future career of Scarlett Johansson, which would you choose, acting or music?

As far as I know Scarlett is not in Cannes. Her demands were so great and greedy that her film producers refused to cough up. She is in the U.S. right now, i think.
