American Idol Finale: George michaels, Donna Summers and gladys knight performances

Well in what was a grand finale to the end of season 7 of American idol, you have to ask yourself was it a great one? Well that is a good question, but both David Cook and David Archuleta really stepped up to the mark with some great performances. The other contestants who were booted of the show also came back to sing again, the girls performed a medley of Donna Summers hits, the great lady herself also appeared on the show to perform her new song. Then it was the guys turn, so who did they choose for their medley, well it was Brian Adams with songs like Summer of 69 and his biggest ever hit Everything I do, I do It For You.

Then later in the show David Cook belted out a ZZ Top number with the great guys themselves, how cool is that. The season finale of American Idol was certainly one of the best and star studded one yet, there was also a performance from Jonas Brothers. Also on the show was some great Gladys Knight footage which had the pips in the background, but if you took a closer look, it was actually Robert Downey, Jr, Jack Black and Ben Stiller, man it was so funny. The icing on the cake was a performance from Carrie Underwood, who decided to give both David’s a master class in voice control.

Other performances came from the likes of George Michaels, One Republic, Seal and Graham Nash. It seems that everyone wanted to be in on the season 7 finale.
