I live in Canada, so can only be expected to be inundated by American television and pop culture -- half our TV channels snake up fom across the border anyway; I also lived in England, so realize that Britain is not immune to American influences, and not least on television and in music, but I really didn't realize that American Idol was a known phenomenon there...After all, don't you have the original version....? Still, we have Cat Deeley these days, so things are getting increasingly surreal (not to mentio the brief appearance of Anne Robinson a few years back...)No sign of Chris Tarrant, yet, though...........
