We are so exited that Harrison Ford decided to reprise his role as Indiana Jones, but now there are rumors that he could reprise another of his great characters, Jack Ryan. It seems that he was so happy getting back into his old role as Jones, that it left a taste in his mouth for a return to Ryan, who plays a CIA analyst.
Harrison Ford Played Jack Ryan in the 1992 movie Patriot Games, and six years later he reprised the role in Clear and Present Danger. Ford is not the only man to play the part of Ryan, writer Tom Clancy gave the role to Ben Affleck in the 2002 movie The Sum of All Fears. According to Female First there are rumors of a new Jack Ryan movie, and people assumed that the part would go to Ryan Gosling, but this has now been turned on its head since Ford showed an interest.
Ford Said “The Ryan films, the Tom Clancy films were, I thought, worth re-exploring again, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the book on which the last one was based. I think they made a cracking good shot at it and I think Ben Affleck is a very, very talented.”
If there was ever a character that Ford should re-visit it should be Ryan Return, but can the movie cut it against movies like the Bourne series.
