Michael Sophocles who described himself as a good Jewish Boy, is the latest contestant to be fired from The Apprentice. The one thing that let him down in a precious task was the fact that he could not tell the difference between Kosher and Halal meat, now how can he be a good Jewish boy. However; he was fired by Sir Alan Sugar, after he had lost the teams lead in a luxury car rental task.

According to BBC News there are now five candidates left in the running to work for Sir Alan Sugar, these are Alex Wotherspoon, Claire Young, Helene Speight, Lee McQueen and finally Lucinda Ledgerwood. The final five will now be facing some tough interviews, with some of Sir Alan’s trusted associates. The task what got Michael Sophocles fired was where he had to rent a selection of luxury supercars from, Aston Martins, Ferraris as well as Lamborghinis and Zondas. The sad fact of this was the team only made £2,114 in sales, the other team managed to make £11,815.

This task for Michael’s team was a disaster, and it was obvious that Michael would face a grilling from Sir Alan. The sad fact of the matter is, Sophocles actually showed some great potential on the task, but it was not enough on the day.
