Well it seems as if all the rumours are true, that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are expecting a baby. This now explains the rush wedding, one minute they were boyfriend and girlfriend, and then the next minute the couple were married. Fall out Boy bassist, Pete Wentz has said on his blog “While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our first child,” he then added “This is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share the happy news and start our family.”
Ashlee will no longer go by the Simpson name, instead she will use her married name of Wentz, well in private anyway, but for professional reasons, she will stick to Simpson. The happy couple have been dating since 2006, and only announced their engagement in April.
As you know, Pete Wentz already has a successful music career with his band Fall out Boy, but that is a different story for his new wife Ashlee Simpson. Ashlee has had some success with music, her latest album Bittersweet World, which only managed to peak at No.4, but it was played 19 million times on her MySpace page. However; that is nothing compared to the success of her husband’s band.
