Well it’s Friday night and that can mean only one thing, yes that’s right it is the last semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent. Only two acts were able to go through, and I have to say it wasn’t the best night for performances. The two who made it through were dance act Nemisis and String quartet Escala, so do you think they have want it takes to win tomorrow night.
The first act which took to the stage was Caburlesque; these are an eight-strong cabaret and burlesque act, they turned up on stage with small paints just like they promised. Piers said that they were “a million times better”, Amanda said they were “much more provocative.” As always it was Simon who put a perspective on things by saying “You should have gone much further.”
The next on the stage was Madonna Decina; she decided to give us her rendition of Witney Houston’s The Greatest Love of All. I have to say the performance was not good one; her voice was a bit nasally. Piers said “I think you did your two little girls proud.” Amanda agreed with him, as you would expect Simon was not happy and said “I love you, I love your story, but this is Britain’s Got Talent, not Britain’s best story.”
So we are now onto our third act, and on came Anya Sparks, I do admire her dancing but I just don’t get it. We know she is big and you have to admire her effort, but it all seems like a bit of a mess. Piers said “You are not the most talented person here, but for representing every hard-working mum in Britain…I love you!” Amanda agreed with Piers as usual, but Simon put a spanner in the works by saying that he did not like it.
Next up was Craig Harper, this is one act that I can’t take too, why do people come on stage and give us a sad story, talk about boring. He sung a few songs in the style of many artists, but it was his Barry White impression which was too painful. Piers said that he loved the act; Amanda said that she hoped the British public would vote for him. Simon said that he thought Craig’s audition was better than tonight’s performance, but he did say “It’s rare to meet someone I like as much as you. If I vote with my heart, I want to see you in the final.”

Yes i agree escala are very good but all the judges keep saying they are really original! They are not! A group called Bond did it a few years back, they are an electric string quartet just like them and so Escala are not original!
