Sarah Bartholomew, the woman who has been stalking Little Britain star David Walliams is to be sentenced today, and could be facing jail time. 29-year-old Bartholomew from Clacton-on-Sea, Essex faces one charge of threatening a witness or juror and another for harassment. Her sentence will take place today at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court, it was meant to happen earlier this month, but was adjourned because of her state of mind.
According to reports from Sky News, Bartholomew breached her bail conditions of having any contact with Walliams; she took a letter and gifts to his home. Ian Baker, the district Judge has left her sentencing options open, and has said that if she has any more breaches in her bail, then she could be sent to Holloway Prison. Sarah Bartholomew has said recently that she and Walliams have a relationship, which he is keeping secret. The court heard that the troubled stalker has been sending the Little Britain comedian a number of sexual emails, poems and letters, the court also heard that once she had to be forcibly removed from a TV studio where Walliams was working. In one of the emails it had a disturbing message on it which was sent to David’s ageing saying “David knows what’s coming to him.”
David Walliams is not in the country to hear the sentencing; he is in the U.S. filming.
It is worrying how many weird people there are in the world, it seems that more and more people have this fantasy that these stars actually want to have a relationship with them.
