Tatum O’Neil, the Oscar winning actress and daughter to Ryan has been arrested in New York; she was reportedly caught by police officers trying to buy crack cocaine and powder cocaine. When O’Neil was approached by officers in the Lower East Side of Manhattan she said to them “Do you know who I am?” In a desperate attempt to get out of the situation, Tatum told police “’I'm researching a part - I’m doing this for a part as a junkie.” There are also reports that the former wife of John McEnroe had a crack pipe on her person.
The arrest of Tatum O’Neil was the result of a police drugs team who were conducting a sweep of an area which is a known drugs blackspot. The troubled actress has now been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Alan Garcia, who is the suspected drug dealer has also been arrested and charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance.
It seems that Tatum has not had good role models to live up too, firstly her mother Joanna Moore was an alcoholic, as well has having an addiction to amphetamines. Her father Ryan also had a run in with police last year. Many thought that Tatum was finally off drugs in 1996, after going through rehab for her addition.

You better find a center within yourself, the part of you that isn’t trying to hide by getting F’ed up. You better start coming from that place, and do anything but drugs to compensate until you can. Hi Tatum,
been there….alll you can do is try, thats all we can do we try, we try to do the right thing not to lie, not cheat, try not to get high, I kept clean for 12 years, then i picked up, ……I tried to keep clean again, all I am doing is tring I am doing well right now but it’s just now this moment but I did discover something if I don’t get up, go to my car, drive to an atm machine take money out look for a dealer and purchase….it is imposible for me to get high, remember oneday at a time, people, places and things

Its about time she drops the suicide mode she has given herself, and move forward! she needs to treat herself by purchasing a high rise condo with full blown views of the entire Las Vegas strip and Red Rock mountains by contacting the Rockin Realtor of Las Vegas!
