Queen Latifah has already been the face of a cosmetic campaign, but it seems like she has gotten a taste for more and wants to join stars such as, Paris Hilton and JLo and bring out her own perfume. The Oscar nominated star of Chicago has been offered to launch her very own perfume from Parlux Fragrances, Inc. The new Queen Latifah fragrance will be ready for release some time next year.
It seems that Latifah, real name Dana Elaine Owens has seen the huge success that other celebrities have had when releasing a perfume range, so it was only a matter of time before the star jumped on the bandwagon. Latifah has said “For me, beauty really does start on the inside. It’s like a state of mind - a state of love, if you will.” The star also added “For me, beauty really does start on the inside. It’s like a state of mind - a state of love, if you will. “So, I see fragrance as just a natural expression of this state of love - scent expresses a woman’s confidence and sensuality. It’s how she embraces her body, her mind and her strength.” Parlux Fragrances, Inc. is responsible for a number of other celebrity fragrances, such as Andy Roddick, Jessica Simpson and Paris Hilton. There are no details about the new fragrance yet, we do not even know what kind of fragrance it will be, sweet, fresh or spicy.
