George Sampson in Billy Elliot style movie: In Entertainment

The winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2008 George Sampson, has now been offered a part in a new Billy Elliot style Hollywood movie. Producers have approached Sampson’s agents, to turn his story in to a movie. The movie has so many similarities to Billy Elliot; the new movie will follow the dreams of a 14-year-old dancer who beat all the odds. A close insider has said “They reckon George’s story could be a perfect follow-up to Billy. There are a lot of similarities.”

George, a break-dancer from Warrington, Cheshire, won the ITV talent show last Saturday, has been telling his story of how it was for him to make a career out of dancing. The other day we run a story about how doctors warned that if Sampson would not stop dancing, then he could risk becoming a cripple. The spine condition that even made him go blind in one eye for a while. But George was a though little fighter, and would not let something like that stand in the way of his dream.

This is truly a dream of a fighter; his story is very similar to the 2000 movie, Billy Elliot. George would also busk on the streets of Manchester, so that he could pay for his own dance lessons. George Sampson is the hottest news at the moment, and the Britain’s Got Talent bosses are very happy as they have now had an extra 20,000 entries for next years talent contest.

I hope they don’t turn it into a movie..there’s only one billy elliot and there only ever will be one. There are obviously not many dancers on this site because he’s actually not that good. He only got votes because of his sob story and literally every girl in the UK loves him. He can dance..i’m not denying that but being as i’m a dancer..he really isn’t that amazing..he’s very repetitive and not very sharp with what he does.

I beg them not to make it into a movie!!!!
He can’t dance like Billy Elliot can

Please dont make his story into a movie…

1) He cant dance nearly half as good as Billy Elliot
2) They can’t carry a story on which is completly different
3) Billy Elliot is a better film already because ballet is soo much harder than street. Street is basically people doing unset moves..ballet requires much, much more than that.

I’m not saying George isn’t talented..just that there are millions of people out there that can dance like him..people only like him because he’s fit and has loads of money..although i have heard he has a scholarship for a ballet course..hmm..then he will get a real taste of what dancing is.
