Lost star Josh Holloway and his wife can rest a little easier now, as the armed robber who held them both hostage in their home in Hawaii has will have to spend up to 30 years in prison. Ruben Royce, 23 broke in to the Lost star’s home back in October 2005, Judge Karl Sakamoto said that he was also responsible for “a tidal wave of crime”. The armed robber broke in to Josh’s home, where the threatened Josh and his wife, he then stole their wallets and also stole the family car.
While in the courtroom Ruben Royce, owned up to another three robberies. He has pleaded guilty to a range of crimes, from burglary, first-degree robbery as well as kidnapping. Royce’s attorney did not have much of a defence to put up, but he did say that his client did not know that Josh Holloway was a television star until after the robbery.
We last see the Lost star swim to the shore of the island, after he sacrificed himself for Kate, who he loves in the hit TV show. We now have to wait and see what happens to him, as he made it to the island which later Ben made disappear.
