It has been reported that yesterday Lewis Hamilton’s dad crashed his Porsche Carrera GT through a hedge and careered into an empty children’s play area moments after leaving his home. Thank god there was know children in the playground. Shaken Mr Hamilton who is 47 who manages the career of his Formula One son Lewis staggered back to the front door of his luxury house in Tewin, Herts.
Tree surgeon Daniel Winn who witnessed that accident said that “I was working near his house and saw him leave in the Porsche. He started revving the car really hard and wheel-spinned off. He had the roof down and looked at me before he put his foot down. He roared off and 50 yards down the road lost it on the corner. The car spun around at 180 degrees and left the road. There was a terrible bang. I ran over and I asked if he was alright. He just said ‘yes’ and staggered off, looking really shocked. A bit later he drove back in a 4X4 to take a look at the Porsche. I rang to report the accident.”
The Porsche was later removed by a recovery vehicle and Mr Hamilton was quizzed by the police. A spokesman for Hertfordshire Police said that “A Porsche left the road and collided with a hedge. No one was injured.
Just to let all you car fans know that the Porsche Carrera GT is priced at £330,000
And can do 0-62MPH in 3.9 SECS with a top speed of 205MPH

Was he drunk then? I hope the police breathalized him. What a complete disgrace to be seen driving thru an area in that way. And YES it IS a good job there were no children around at the time…what an inconsiderate imbocile

The article is incorrect. It wasn’t his Porsche, he borrowed it form an un-named source (The Munich numberplate is a bit of a giveaway !)
