Last night on the Apprentice Sir Alan Sugar had finally had enough of aromatherapy fan Lucinda Ledgerwood and fired her. Sir Alan said that she was just “too zany” for a £100,000-ayear job in his Amstrad empire.
On the show last night the final five had to face four tough interviewers, and one was from Birmingham City boss Karren Brady who described Lucinda as an “absolute nutcase”.
Lucinda was the 12th to be fired and now four will battle it out in next week’s final. It was contestant Alex Wotherspoon who put the boot in and made things worse for Lucinda by telling Sir Alan that she didn’t even want the dream job and the others then spoke up and said that’s what she told them.
Lucinda said that “I was singled out to be given the hard time but I hope that I came out fighting and I didn’t have to resort to underhand bitchy tactics. There were times when I was upset but that was more to do with frustration. It was a struggle, definitely”
So next week look like it will be a hard week for Sir Alan as he will have to pick the winner. So next week the four contestants will be split into two teams and the loosing team will be fired and the remaining two will battle it out in the boardroom for the winning job.
