As we know many housemates who enter the big brother house treat it as a stab at stardom, but housemate Stephanie McMichael, is treating the show as a way of reignited her passion for stardom. The thing is Stephanie is not like any of the other contestants, she has already had her chance and it did not work out for her, McMichael is in fact a Girls Aloud reject. Stephanie is not happy already; as she has to pass herself of as Mario’s girlfriend, however just think how Lisa Appleton feels. She is the real girlfriend of Mario, she will have to sit back and watch her boyfriend being all nice to another woman.
I think that this is a little wrong, the thing is who knows how far Mario and Stephanie will take it, it could be very damaging to a relationship, especially as Lisa the girlfriend is in the Big Brother house watching it all unfold. It seems that Channel 4 bosses will do anything to increase ratings. But then again, they must have warned them that they should expect anything when they enter the house. So if things did go a little too far, then should have never offered to be part of Big Brother 9 in the first place. One thing is certain though, this might just get the Girls Aloud reject back on the celebrity map.
Always difficult to know how ethical the BB bosses need to be given that it is now in its 9th year and the contestants, as you say, must be well aware that sleaze will be part of the game, especially since Big Brother wants to get its ratings back up. Stephanie is ruthless though! Lisa has good cause to worry if you ask me.
