Who would have thought that a girl playing on her Nintendo Wii Fit wearing nothing more than underwear would get herself millions of hits on YouTube. This is now one of the most popular videos on YouTube at the moment, and it will be no secret that most of the hits will be from guys.
The video is titled “Why every guy should buy their girlfriend Wii Fit”, and watching this might just persuade thousands of guys to do so. In the video the girl is not doing anything too special, she is just doing some hula action. At the moment the video has 3,534,377 hits and this number is still growing. Giovanny Gutierrez, who is an advertising executive from Miami, is the guy who uploaded the video. The girl in the Wii Fit video is his 22-year-old girlfriend, Lauren Bernat.
Many people believe that Nintendo are behind this video, as part of a promotion however; Nintendo has denied that this video has anything to do with them. In a statement, a Nintendo Spokesperson said “This has, and is, absolutely 100 percent, nothing to do with Nintendo.” They also added “Nintendo did not create it and was not aware of it until it was brought to our attention.”
Since this video was uploaded on YouTube, there are now a number of other similar videos appearing on the website. I wonder how long it will be before woman start begging for videos of men doing the same thing on their Nintendo Wii Fit, and if a man was to upload one, would it get as many hits.
