Jamie Lynn Spears has had a baby girl named Maddie Briann: In Entertainment

Yesterday Jamie Lynn Spears gave birth to a baby girl at a south Mississippi hospital, it’s said that she named her daughter Maddie Briann. Little Maddie weighed 7 pounds, 11 ounces and it’s said that both mother and daughter are doing very well.

According to reports Britney arrived just in time for the 9.30am birth in and also Jamie Lynn’s fiancé Casey Aldridge was also at the hospital. It’s said that Britney is very keen to support her sister. An insider said that Casey was nervous the first time he held baby Maddie, who is said to be “happy, healthy and gorgeous.”

Jamie announced her pregnancy through an article in OK! Magazine and was expected to receive a large payday for exclusive pictures of the newborn.

In other news Jamie Lynn Spears sent the celebrity gossip into a lather last December when, at the age of 16, she confirmed to the world that “I’m pregnant.” Now a disturbing new blast of teenage pregnancy news has surfaced because a sudden baby boom among students at Gloucester High School in Massachusetts. Its said that as summer vacation begins, around 17 girls at Gloucester High School are expecting babies which is more than four times the number of pregnancies the 1,200-student school had last year. All it took was a few simple questions before nearly half the expecting students, none older than 16, confessed to making a pact to get pregnant and raise their babies together.

According to reports adults in Gloucester are blaming a depressed local economy, broken families, adrift children, difficult access to birth control and hit movies like “Juno” and “Knocked Up” that they say glamorize pregnancy to young audiences.

Ok Jamie Lynn has had a baby at 17 but I am sure that with the support of her family she will bring her baby up well and not forgetting the babies dad is around to help with is great.

I am so happy for her and her family. I think she is going to show all of the young mothers that they can do it. I think God does things for a reason.. I think she will give strength to the young mothers. When I became pregnant with my son when I was 17 all I heard was that my life was over. Now I have two children, I am still with their father, and still in college. Yes, it is HARD, but you CAN do it. I wouldn’t trade my life and children now for the world.
This will be the message she gives, I know it.

I feel bad for the woman who wrote motherhood is hell.. Actually, I feel bad for her children..
I love my children and every moment I spend with them. It is the most amazing thing to watch your children grow and learn. I think being a mother is one of the biggest blessings God could ever give anyone. I cherish every moment I spend with my children. Yes it is stressful at times, but thats what comes with being a parent.
Jamie, enjoy your daughter becasue they grow up too fast.

Hey wussup. alot a the pple that wrote heka cht bout u dont listn ta them .thingz happen 4 a reason.n 4 all da othr pple out there readin this : pple kan b goin thru cht at home , depression , and cht and they have a kid because thatz wut keepz em goin, so jus bk off if u hav ntin gud ta say dont say it at all!!! it wuz her choice n all the other gurlz choiocezz dat had kidz b4, N im 1 of em . I had a kid cuz i wuz in a life i wuz doin bad in and kouldnt get out of , but then again , i got ma se3lf inta it n i had ta get out a it. I just turned 21 Monika
I was a teen mom twice (pregnant at 17 in high school & had him at 18 and prengnant again at 19 had her at 20) and wouldn’t change it for the world. My fiance and I have been together for 6 years in Sept. and we have an 8 month old and a 2 year old. We have been living on our own since I got pregnant with my son…Both were surprises, but they are both so worth it. It’s def. hard don’t get me wrong, but you can do anything you set your mind to. I’m in my Junior year in college right now for Social work… I plan on finishing my bachelors and then going on for my masters degree..who woulda thought?? i guess teen moms can do it :p

Keep your head up because I couldn’t imagine being 15 with my kids.. I didn’t have the same mentality that I have now.. Why don’t your parents help? I had no choice but to be on my own because my mom lives in Arkansas and my dad in Florida. I’ve been on my own (but with my fiance too) since I got pregnant with my son and before that I lived with my friend since I was 16. Life is hard, but like I said -anything you set your mind to, you can do. Def. finish school. College is so much better than high school. I hated high school when I went. It’s crazy how fast you have to grow up once you have a baby. Keep in touch mama!!
