Amy Winehouse is in quarantine

As we know Amy Winehouse was rushed into hospital last week and has remained there since while doctors try and find out what is wrong with her. It’s now said that Amy has been in quarantine while her doctors try and contain her chest infection. Mays test results came back yesterday saying that she was clear of tuberculosis.

According to reports Family and friends are banned from visits and only her dad Mitch has been allowed to enter the room to support his struggling daughter. A source revealed that “Doctors have to take this very seriously. She is coughing and spluttering all over the place so visitors would be at risk of catching whatever she has. Doctors still aren’t sure what is wrong with her so she must give them more time. Hopefully she will stay in long enough to clean herself up.

Despite being in hospital very ill Amy is said to be very determined to play her Glastonbury and Nelson Mandela gigs next week. But family and friends want Amy to focus on her health as she stays in hospital another night. A spokesman said that “Amy still intends to perform next week. But the decision will be made entirely on the advice of her doctors.”
