It has been announced that Leona Lewis is charging around £1million for personal appearances now that’s not bad considering it has been less than 18 months after winning the X Factor. The £1million fee puts Leona in the same pay league as some of the world’s biggest stars such as Sir Paul McCartney.
Since winning the X Factor Leona’s career has rocketed and her debut album Spirit reached No1 in the UK and America. Now for a singer to make it big in America and the UK has got to be great. Leona has a fantastic powerful voice and I am sure that she will be around for many years to come.
It’s said that Leona is worth £6million at the moment and gives away much of her cash to charity, including the Teenage Cancer Trust. A source said that “Leona is one of the most sought after stars around. She has little say in the fee charged - big money sponsors literally name their fee and her management respond accordingly. She is adamant much of the profit goes straight back to her favourite charities.”

Absolutely! In every generation, every decade you get a a female artist who has the superb, untouchable voice, whos music reaches billions and who is a class act, in the 80’s there was Whitney, 90’s Mariah, now Leona…im just glad she’s British! Love Leona!

I agree with JJRB. This is the time for the upcoming ones and LEONA is the one in her own style and genre. BEYONCE is the other in her own style too and so are ALICIA & RIHANNA.
