Amy Winehouse to have medics on standby at Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Gig

As we know Amy Winehouse is currently in hospital and is so desperate to perform at Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday Concert and Glastonbury that she plans to play through the pain barrier. Fragile Amy is so determined not to let her supporters down, or miss out on the chance to play for her most famous fan at Friday’s gig in London’s Hyde Park. Amy will have a special St John’s ambulance crew on permanent standby for her who was hospitalised with emphysema last week.

It’s said that concert organisers are taking no chances. Fearing loose cannon Amy could make herself ill and miss the show, they are set to refuse her request for alcopops and vodka to be included in her rider. Amy’s backstage boudoir will include a private hospital suite with a massage bed and paramedics.

A friend of Amy has said that “After everything Amy has been through, her main fear is that she has lost her lucky pendant containing a lock of hubby Blake’s hair. Amy is desperate to find it because she reckons she can only perform at her best when she’s wearing it.”

Do you think that this will make Amy very ill?
