Wimbledon 2008 TV Schedule: Roger Federer beats Dominik Hrbaty

Oh yes that’s right it has now been another year and that means that it is time for Wimbledon once again, and you will be shocked to learn that first days play for Wimbledon 2008 has not been interrupted by rain yet. As it is the first day people will want to know what the TV schedule is for each match. I have managed to find a list of all the times that each match is due to start, the times are GMT. View here

You have to remember that these times are subject to change; well it is in the UK after all. So first days play is well under way and you have to feel sorry for Dominik Hrbaty, as he had played the world number one, Roger Federer. Roger lead the match from the start . Federer has now won Wimbledon five times, and is well on his way for a sixth in succession, this would make him the greatest tennis champion of the modern time. If this were to happen, then Federer would eclipse Bjorn Borg’s record.

Ok so we know that Roger Federer, is a great champion, but I do have a problem with the current players of today. Back in the days of Bjorn Borg and John McEnroe, as well as Jimmy Connors, they all seemed to bring a little something extra to the game, but this is sadly missed in modern day tennis. Please let us hope that the action at Wimbledon 2008 will be a little less dull.

  1. I thiink Andy Murray will be very popular as Tim Hennam,

However there are three major hinders to his career:

1- Murray is not physically strong, we can see this difference between Federer and Nadal. Federer is a good technicien and khows or understand any movement in a Tenis game but he is not that strong. However Nadal is physically strong can run wherever a tenis ball is sent and that why Federer really struggles to beat Nadal. Tenis is one those sport where if you not ready to run any time, you loose.

2- Murray thinks he is a talent in a wrong time. a time of top seeds such as Federer, Nadal, Djokovic, Davydenko, roddick etc. And so he finks he is not yet in such level of beating them but can afford to beat others players to keep his name.

3- Media is also a big factor in Murray’s career, they can help or destroy his career.

Conclusion: If Murray can go behind all this or be aware that these are his hinders. he will become the greatest British tenis player because he has great ideas, technics, and love for tenis.
