There are reports that Gary Glitter will launch a musical comeback once he is released from jail in August. Glitter, 64, real name Paul Francis Gadd, is currently in prison in Vietnam for molesting two girls in the country. It seems that Gadd has expressed how keen he is to make a comeback, but it seems that he has forgotten one thing, the public.
Glitter has said “I have an incomplete album that I want to finish. I have been thinking about the plan during my days in jail.” You have to wonder if he is of a sane mind, how he can think that people will purchase any of his records. Sky News is also reporting that Glitter wants to move to Singapore or Hong Kong once he is released from jail. He said “I am trying to contact my lawyer and friends to see where the best place to live is.”
A few months ago it had been reported by a British newspaper that Glitter did not want to return back to Britain, as he would have been put on the country’s sex offenders’ registry. It seems that the reason that Glitter has chosen Honk Kong as a place to live once he leaves prison, is because they do not have any regulations barring convicted sex offenders. However; every entrant has to undergo a case by case examination.
