Here we go again according to reports Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie may split. Madonna and Guy have been married for seven years, but are now alleged to be openly discussing divorce. But we have heard all this before could this just be for publicity?
It’s said that the relationship between Madonna and Guy has been beset with troubles, with intense speculation recently about when the announcement of a split would come. They tried to put on a show of ‘togetherness’ at Cannes Film Festival last month, but photos showed them looking pained and distracted.
Madonna has previously said in an MTV documentary that she “got married for all the wrong reasons” she said that “my husband did not turn out to be everything I imagined him to be. I wanted to end everything.”
A friend of the couple has said that they “live like brother and sister rather than husband and wife, and thought it best to call it a day”.
Madonna’s current world tour ends on the 29th November and it is said that the split could be formalised after that. Do you think that this is true?
