Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant: the battle is back on
Jun 24, 2008 | Comments 0

It looks like that the Battle is ob again between Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant just when we thought that it was over. In the Shaquille O’Neal Video which you can see below by clicking on the link you can see Shaq’s freestyle rap ripping Kobe.
In a video which was released on TMZ.com, Shaquille is shown doing a freestyle rap in a New York City nightclub in which he takes several shots at his former Lakers teammate. Shaquille also referenced Kobe’s inability to lead the Lakers past the Celtics in the 2008 NBA Finals: “Last week Kobe couldn’t do without me.”
It’s also said that more old wounds resurfaced during the rap, because Shaquille appeared to blame Kobe for the breakup of his marriage, singing, “I’m a horse. Kobe ratted me out. That’s why I’m getting divorced.”
Shaquille tried to defuse the controversy by releasing a statement to ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith in which he implored critics not to “make something out of nothing.” He said that “I was free styling. That’s all. It was all done in fun. Nothing serious whatsoever. That is what MC’s do. They freestyle when called upon. I’m totally cool with Kobe. No issue at all.”
Shaquille filed for divorce from his wife, Shaunie, in September 2007 after five years of marriage. They have four children together.
