Harry Potter actor Rob Knox is laid to rest

Last month we sadly reported that Harry Potter actor Rob Knox was brutally stabbed to death outside a bar in Sidcup and today we can now report that he has been laid to rest. Today friends and family gathered to pay their respects to Rob Knox. The private funeral, attended by family and close friends, took place at Eltham crematorium

Rob who was just 18 played Marcus Belby in the forthcoming film Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Rob’s dad, Colin, leant on the flower-filled white hearse which brought his son’s coffin to the crematorium and broke down while mum Sally comforted their son Jamie. Afterwards friends and family attended a memorial service was held at St John the Evangelist church in Sidcup.

Rob’s parents Sally and Colin Knox urged other youngsters not to carry knives in the wake of their son’s death.
