Madonna has lined up divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton

According to reports Madonna has lined up the divorce lawyer who was involved with Sir Paul McCartney’s court battle with Heather Mills. It’s said that Madonna’s seven-year marriage with Guy Ritchie is on the rocks and that she has had talks with Fiona Shackleton back in April. No papers have been filed.

A friend of Madonna said that “Madonna always seeks out the best in whatever field she is interested in at any given time. Fiona Shackleton is the best.”

Fiona has earned herself a fearsome reputation in her handling of two of the highest-profile divorces Charles and Diana followed by Macca v Mucca.

In an interview Fiona admitted that “I like sticking up for people. It helps to have a rod of steel through your back and lots of charm. People generally choose the lawyers they deserve.”

It’s said that Madonna and Guy are not thought to have signed a pre-nuptial agreement which means that Madonna’s vulnerable to any aggressive legal team he might field.
