It has been reported that ex Big Brother housemate Dennis McHugh has told a Scottish newspaper that he would only apologise for his behaviour in the Big Brother house if he was paid £1,000. What is this man on?
As we know Dennis was removed by producers last week after he spat in the face of fellow housemate Mohamed in an alcohol-fuelled row.
It’s sad that The Daily Record was contacted by a friend of Dennis who explained that the newspaper could secure an interview with Dennis if it could beat an offer of £900 from an English tabloid. He said that “He is sorry for what happened but he’s not going to do anything for nothing,”
Dennis has said that he is “disgusted” by his behaviour and vowed never to drink alcohol again.
A Big Brother insider said that “What Dennis did was seriously offensive. When he was evicted, the Big Brother bosses didn’t allow him to do any interview with Davina McCall or any of the other shows associated with it. After he’s back in Scotland, clearly they can’t help it if he crawls out of the woodwork, but you have to say he has a brass neck asking for money after what happened.”
Do you think that Dennis should be paid for saying sorry? I don’t he was out of order

It’s typical for people to get paid for interviews. I don’t see why he would be expected to accept less than he’s being offered.

I really appreciate that they have given him no more oppotunities since the removal. This BB has finally got it right in handling “loose canons”.

a public apology is NOT an interview, he’s made it clear how little remorse he showed for the whole incident, he’s only “sorry” when the police got involved. He taunted Mo while he pranced his way into the diary room and now he will only apologize if it means making some cash. He does not deserve money for an apology, if he had any decency at all he would be compelled to do it anyway.

this years contestants have been absolutely dispicable, other than Rachel, and I can’t even say I’m certain how genuine she is.
Not one of them has what it takes to be a clear winner. Compared to last year, Brian, the Twins and Liam were all equal winners in my eyes. The year before that, Pete and Glynn were also both as deserving as each other. And even before that Anthony and Eugene were both excellent housemates although I felt Eugene was the better of the 2.
But this year they are either too fixated with straight talking or mentally too weak to survive in the house (Darnell and Sara are equally responsible for this)
For once there hasn’t been a single person in there who I’d be happy to see win.
