Amy Winehouse launched a verbal attack on Kanye West at the Glastonbury Festival

Now we all know that Amy Winehouse lost it at the Glastonbury festival at the weekend but what made it worse was that she stunned Jay-Z with her fiery temper launching a scathing verbal attack on his friend Kanye West. Amy hit the headlines for attacking a fan in the crowd at the music festival during her spot on Saturday but headliner Jay-Z was more put out by the singer’s comments about Kanye West minutes later.

Jay-Z, who was watching her show from the side of Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, admits that he was upset when Amy turned on Kanye during a rant in which she attempted to defend festival organisers for hiring Jay-Z as Glastonbury’s first rap headliner. Amy told the crowd that “Imagine if it was a c**t like Kanye West! `C**ts like Kanye’ - should be his next album title!”

Jay-Z has said that “She said something about Kanye late on (in her set) but I didn’t hear it and I don’t agree with it. He’s my brother and the biggest artist on Roc-a-fella (records) right now. I guess I should hook them up because he’s a great guy too. I don’t know what the problem is - I don’t know where that (comment) came from.”

In other news Kanye West insists he has “made it” now that Amy Winehouse has called him a ****.

Writing on his blog, Kanye responded to her comments he said that “This just in… Amy Winehouse hates me!!! Now I’ve really made it!!! LOL!!!”
