Last night there was an extra-special added bonus to the Hancock premiere in Hollywood because leading man Will Smith and his old partner in rap, DJ Jazzy Jeff performed a surprise concert. Will many of his hit songs, including the theme from the TV show that launched him to stardom, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Will said that “I’m out of shape – I’m playing an out of shape superhero here,”
Will went on to say that “Charlize Theron is a fantastic actress – gorgeous, sexy, powerful, so much range. From drama to comedy, she can do all things fantastic. But she can’t tell time! She just can’t tell time.
So here is what the film is about. Will Smith plays a superhero the kind that can fly, has super-strength and is impervious to bullets. But the difference between Mr. Smith’s character and the Man of Steel is: Hancock’s kind of a jerk. But as “Hancock” progresses and the plot starts to unravel when it should be coming together, not even Will Smith -Mr. Fourth of July himself - can save it.
I must say that the film looks great but saying that most of the films that have Will Smith in are.
