Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcome their daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban

We are pleased to announce that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have welcomed their baby daughter who they have named Sunday Rose Kidman Urban. She arrived Monday morning in Nashville, weighing 6lbs 7.5oz.

Spokesman Paul Freundlich said that “Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side, and mother and baby are very well”. A close family friend said that “She’s never been happier and healthier. She is absolutely radiant and enjoying nesting and homemaking with Keith at their new home.”

The baby is Keith’s first child. Nicole has two adopted children, Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13, with ex-husband, Tom Cruise.

I wonder why they call the baby Sunday? But like the rhyme goes:

“Monday’s Child is fair of face.
Tuesday’s child is full of grace.
Wednesday’s child is full of woe.
Thursday’s child has far to go.
Friday’s child is loving and giving.
Saturday’s child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay.”
