Christie Brinkley lawyers settle divorce out-of-court

Christie Brinkley’s lawyers have managed to settle her divorce out-of-court, which means that the trail has come to an abrupt end. Brinkley’s 4th husband Peter Cook will receive $2.1 million in the divorce settlement however; the former supermodel will keep her 18 properties in the Hamptons.

According to Divorce Diva, Christie Brinkley gets custody of the two children; Cook will still get time to spend with them both. In the divorce settlement, Cook will get to see the children every other weekend as well as on Wednesday nights.

The divorce case was a direct result from when Cook had an affair with 18-year old Diana Bianchi, well that and his Internet Sex addiction which he spent thousands of dollars on.

Theresa Mari, who is the children’s attorney, said that both parents “worked very hard to do this in the best interest of the children.” She also stated that Cook admitted to his pornographic proclivities and adultery, this has made him unsuitable for child custody.

Brinkley has said how she tried her hardest to keep all the messy details of the breakup of her marriage away from her children, she assured the kids how much she loves them.
