He is one for all you festival goers because T in the Park begins today and it look like that it is going to follow the lead of Glastonbury.
The festival was hit by torrential rain in 2007 but this year the Met Office has delivered good news this morning as revellers descended on Scotland’s biggest music festival. Forecasters have predicted a mostly fine weekend and ruled out a repeat of last year’s mud bath.
80,000 people are expected to arrive at the festival which is said to have a “mega line-up”, with The Verve and Chemical Brothers headlining tonight. But it’s said that all eyes will be on Sunday’s headline act, Amy Winehouse.
Tickets for the festival all sold out with in hours of going on sale, but this morning T in the Park organisers admitted that some tickets had been returned and were now available for resale. So I guess if you want a ticket you will have to get them quick.
A spokesperson said that “A small number of tickets have become available due to the sell-out of the new campsite area and the release of some tickets which were previously held back. Fans were given the option to upgrade their existing tickets or buy a full package, including tickets. Once this area sold out, we were able to release the remaining tickets.”
Are you attending this festival this year and if so what so you think of the line up?
