It has just been announced that Big Brother is set to be axed in Australia following poor ratings. It’s said that Channel 10 has decided that, due to poor ratings of under a million viewers Australia will become the first country to drop the series.
As we know last week Pamela Anderson entered the house in a bid to boost the audience levels but it’s said that she only managed to attract just 1.4million.
TV boss David Mott said that “It was a struggle to continue to cause shock and surprise. The audience know how it works; the housemates know how it works.”
In England Channel 4 remains committed to Big Brother despite the rumours that the show will be taken off air because of all the bullying going on in the house and the removal of two housemates.
What do you think has Big Brother got what it takes to carry on or should the show now come to an end?
I have to say that the show was good at the beginning but now I think that it has gone on for too long and you can never get the ratings you had at the very beginning.

This tasteless program should never have been screened at all in the first place.
