FX has announced that they have placed a final 19 episodes for Nip/Tuck , so will run till 2011. Once the plastic surgery series show finally comes to an end, it would have knocked up 100 episodes.
So if you love to see what doctors McNamara and Troy get up too each week, you can do so for the next 3 years. The great news for Nip/Tuck fans is the news that the show’s creator and executive producer Ryan Murphy will stay on until the very last show.
The extra episodes that have been ordered are on top of the final eight episodes from the previous series, which were cut short due to the writers’ strike.
You will be able to see the extra eight episodes from January 2009.
FX boses have hinted that the final 19 episodes might be split into two mini-seasons, not sure if that would go down well with the fans though, look how we have been left hanging after Doctor McNamara got stabbed.
