Jorja Fox returning to CSI as William Petersen quits

I am so very disappointed that Peterson is leaving. I am equally sad to see Warrick leave. I was just getting used to Sara being gone. If they are going to replace Peterson with any of the three listed I hope it is Kurt Russell. If not I don’t know if I will keep watching it. It is my all time favorite show, but it is beginning to come apart at the seams.

I have watched this show for years – and I’d be lying if I say I wasn’t happy when Sara left – never did like her character and so I thought it was a good move by CSI to do what they did –

This is so sad, I wish nothing but the best to Billy and hope this gives him lots of time to pursue other interests including live theater — but this fan is really sad…. it’s a very sad day for CSI fans everywhere….

this is totally nuts , no one will watch the show as much. im telling you the show will go from like 7th in ranking to 17th. grissom basically made the show. i was destroyed when left, when warrick left i was depressed for a while, and now i think i might as well just die because there is no way i can watch it. this is chicken crap

I am totaly gutted to hear William is leaving CSI. I can honestly say it is him who has made the show what it is. It is just not going to be the same. When he left for the odd episode it was not the same. It just didnt have the flare that he brings. I just don’t know how the show will continue without him in the amazing way that it has.
I was so pleased to here Jorja was to return and thought that the GSR storyline and chemistry was to return to our screnes. Amazing I thoiught then followed by William was leaving. So sad and so annoying!

CSI is my fav programe, and I think this will be its downfall…..sadly! I hope CBS realise what they are loosing!

I’m so depressed. I just can’t believe that William is quitting my all time favourite show!! CSI won’t be the same without him. If he’s not coming back, I swear I wiil never watch the show again.

I agree with everyone Billy has the right to leave as do Jorja and Gary and there leaving makes watching the show pointless especially Billy and Jorja who are my fav tv show couple. I though might still watch it to support Marg, Eric and George as they are my fav characters but it depends on how good the show is now and i have no doubt it will drop in the ratings after this hopefully it will make a 10th season but after that it may not have the strength good luck to all those leaving it was a great 8/9 season run for you all. xx

I can’t believe William and Gary are both leaving, I haven’t been able to watch it properly since Jorja left, What is wrong with everyone especially the producers!!!! Grissom can not be replaced, neither can the others, I think they would be better drawing a line under the show than to change the crew so drastically, I am sorry Marg and George as i think they are both great and it must be such a worrying time for them also – how do they see the future of the show?

Please if it’s not bad enough Tripp (miami) is now sporting a silly uniiform this happens! Why don’t you make them like “Criminal Minds” Global.. join all the teams with Mac n Horatio leading – I just don’t know what to say! I am very disapointed that these people are trying to have a life other than CSI.. only joking – good luck to you all in whatever you do and Gary – if you need a shoulder or a change of scenery come and see me – i’ll look after you! x

de todas formas estoy feliz que jorja regrese!!!!pero no pueden ahora de su vuelta ademas sacar a william!!! que onda!!! que les pasa…en vez de enfocarse en recuperar a jorja estan sacando mas personajes….no puede ser!!!!!!!!!

well its official CSI know sucks! first sara (which was hard enough to come to terms with), then Warrick & KNOW GRISSOM! its just not on!!

William Peterson leaving the show will be CSI’s downfall. It was bad enough when Sara left, I actually stopped watching most new episodes for she was my favorite character, and then to KILL Warrick. Warrick could have resigned they didn’t have to KILL him.
But anyway, I will start watching again if Sara comes back…but I really hope they don’t bring in anyone new. Let the three originals stay together alone for awhile. If neither Sara or Grissom are on the show I won’t be watching any new episodes until the series finale. If Peterson does leave I wish them luck because it will all go down hill from there.

So I really hope they bring back Sara, keep Grissom, and don’t bother with any new characters.

I want the actors and actresses to be happy though, so do what you want and have fun, but I stick to what I said.

I was sorry when Gil and Sara got together they did not really belong together I was not so sorry when Jorja Fox left the show I think the loss of William Peterson will damage the show but after all it is just a show and the world will keep going around.

i must have found this blog later than the previous comments and now watch csi religiously and must say lawrence fishburne is fantastic
