Warrant out for the arrest of Pete Doherty

It has been reported that there is a warrant out for the arrest of Pete Doherty because he has failed to attend a court hearing on criminal damage charges for the second time.
It’s said that Pete was expected to enter a plea after an alleged incident with a female Press photographer. It was claimed that Pete pulled a camera from the neck of Cath Mead as she took photographs of him and ex-girlfriend Irina Lazareanu last summer.
It’s said that yesterday Magistrates at Yeovil, Somerset issued a warrant for Pete and said he would not get bail.
Nick Bernard who is the Chairman of the bench said that “I assume that this is the correct address we have for Mr Doherty. He should have, therefore, received the letters stating when he should attend court.”
Looks like that Pete will be serving time. Why do you think that he has not bothered turning up at court?
