World says happy 90th birthday to Nelson Mandela

He has to be one of the most loved and gentle men in the world today, yes we can only be talking about former South African President Nelson Mandela, the world can now say happy 90th birthday. Just a few weeks ago many stars joined Mandela for a party to wish the great man a happy birthday.

World says happy 90th birthday to Nelson Mandela

A number of people are leading tributes to the great man including former President FW de Klerk, who succeeded him.

Over the past few weeks, Mandela has made a number of public appearances, today he is expected to spend a quiet day with his family in his home village.

Well it was meant to be a quiet day for Nelson Mandela, but there are a variey of events planned for the day. There will be a football festival along with a concert and dinner for 500 guests on Saturday.
